The Roost Event Center Wedding

The Roost Event Center is a new luxury wedding venue in Clearfield County that is an all-in one wedding destination for couples who are searching for an upscale venue with a rural resort feel. Located on a beautiful 530 acre property, The Roost has designated area for ceremonies, cocktail hours, and receptions and able to accommodate a guest list of 350.

Bridal parties can start the day at two beautiful and private getting ready suites on-location featuring large vanities, seating, restrooms, and keyless entries. The ceremony space is a timber-frame amphitheater with a view overlooking beautiful rolling hills (and later, stunning sunsets), and has paved walkways and wooden chairs for guests. With electrical outlets at both the back and front of the stone “aisle” walkway, having music for your ceremony will be easy for your DJ.

Guests can then enjoy cocktail hour at the 3600sq.ft. outdoor timber frame pavilion with an additional 1400sq.ft. of covered porch. With an outdoor bar and serving area, guests don’t have to enter your reception area until you want them to! Inside the main building is a stunning two-level reception space with a bar and restrooms on each floor. There is a separate room off of the main dining area to house buffet set-ups, cookie tables, or overflow seating. The upper level can accommodate guests for dining as well, and the catwalk provides unique opportunities for large group photos of EVERY guest at your reception.

The grounds themselves are beautiful as well, with stunning rural landscapes, a pastoral field across the main road, and a small patch of forest across from the venue for three unique and distinct photo backgrounds. The Roost even features an option to add on cold-sparks for a safe alternative to a sparkler “exit” and an epic way to punctuate your wedding gallery.

How much do weddings at the roost cost?

  • $12,000 venue rental as of 2024

What’s included at the Roost

  • Five Hour event rental (doesn’t include cocktail hour or ceremony)  (all events must end by 10:30)

  • Set up & Rehearsal Times will be set up at planning meeting and upon availability

  • 1 Hour planning meeting and (1) one hour finalization meeting with The Roost Venue Manager

  • Full service staff who will set up/take down tables  (choice of layout must be decided 2 weeks before wedding)

  • Access to kitchen facilities for caterers to prep food only

  • Coffee/soft drink bar (coke, diet coke, sprite, cranberry juice, & filtered water)

  • Wooden Farmhouse Tables: 60” round (25), 72” (round), 9ft long (25), 7ft (3)

  • Wooden Farmhouse cross back chairs with padded seat covers

  • Access to exterior patio with 20 cocktail tables, grandfather rockers and outside bar area

  • Access to 3 bars and beer coolers 

  • Access to Ice machine & Bagged ice for beverages

  • Plastic clear cups for drinks

  • Use of bridal and groom suite with keyless entry 

  • On site security

  • Access to our constantly growing prop selection. If props are used an additional refundable security deposit of $300 is required. Clients are responsible for set up/ take down
